" అక్కా! నీతో ముఖ్యమైన విషయం మాట్లాడాలి. చేసే పని ఆపి వచ్చి ఇలా కూర్చో." చిన్నకోడలు , పెద్దకోడలితో అంది. " ఏమైంది? అలా దిగులుగా ఉన్నావు.విషయమేంటి? " అని అడిగింది పెద్దకోడలు. " ఏమీ లేదు. గుండె జబ్బుతో అత్తయ్య చనిపోయి 5 సంవత్సరాలు అయింది. కదా! మామయ్యను అత్తగారే చూసుకునేవారు. ఇప్పుడు మనమే అన్నీ చేస్తున్నాము కదా! మనకు పిల్లలు , సంసారం ఉన్నాయి. మామగారిని ఎన్ని రోజులని చూడగలం.అందుకని నేను ఒక నిర్ణయానికి వచ్చాను>" అంది చిన్నకోడలు. " ఏంటది? " అని అడిగింది పెద్దకోడలు. " మనమిద్దరం మన భర్తలను ఎలాగైనా ఒప్పించి మామగారిని ఆశ్రమంలో చేర్పిద్దాం. అక్కడైతే మామగారికి అన్ని సౌకర్యాలు ఉంటాయి. ఈ వయస్సులో ప్రశాంతంగ ఉండే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది. ఈ రెండు ఇళ్ళల్లో చెరొక ఇంట్లో మనం మన పిల్లలతో హయిగా ఉండవచ్చు." అంది చిన్నకోడలు. " దీనికి మన భర్తలు ఒప్పుకుంటారా? నాకైతే నమ్మకంలేదు." అంది పెద్దకోడలు. " మనం ఏదో ఒకటి చేసి ఒప్పించాలి. ప్రయత్నిద్దాం>" అంది చిన్నకోడలు. ఇద్దరూ విషయాన్ని తమ భర్తలతో చెప్పారు. వారు తండ్రిని ఆశ్రమంలో చేర్చడానికి ఒప్పుకోలేదు....
