తెలుసుకుందాం పశువులు రంగులు చూస్తాయా?

జవాబు: పశువులు రంగుల్ని చూడలేవనేది నిజమే. రంగులంటే మనం చూసే సప్తవర్ణాలు, వాటి కలయికల వల్ల ఏర్పడే ఫలిత వర్ణాలే. తెలుపు, నలుపుల్ని కూడా మనం రంగులంటాం. కానీ అవి నిజానికి రంగులు కావు. ఇక పశువులు కేవలం నలుపు, తెలుపు ఛాయల్ని మాత్రమే చూడగలుగుతాయి. సినిమాల్లో ఎర్ర చీర కట్టుకున్న హీరోయిన్‌ను ఎద్దు తరిమినట్టు చూపించే దృశ్యాలన్నీ నాటకీయత కోసమే. ఎర్ర చీరయినా, పసుపు చీరయినా, ఆకుపచ్చ చీరైనా పశువులకు బూడిద (గ్రే) రంగులో మాత్రమే కనిపిస్తుంది. కాబట్టి నల్లటి దుస్తులు పశువులకు స్పష్టంగానే కనిపిస్తాయి.
